Marianne is a sustainability and international development professional with extensive experience in the U.S. and Southeast Asia. Her areas of expertise include sustainable sourcing, corporate engagement, early-stage grant investment, and social and environmental responsibility.

Before joining the Lab, Marianne led private sector engagement in Asia for the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and supported USAID’s global work in partnerships, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing, with a focus on the agriculture and environment sectors. Prior to USAID, Marianne worked in the nonprofit sectors in Vietnam and Cambodia, was a U.S. Fulbright Scholar in Vietnam, and worked in the consumer packaged goods industry at General Mills in the U.S.

Marianne leads the management and development of the Lab’s landscapes portfolio and ensures the effective delivery of Lab support to landscapes teams worldwide.
